is BSDMaiL.
BSDMaiL is a complete, open source
solution for Internet and Intranet based email. It can be installed
on i386 (32bit) and AMD64 (64bit) platforms. It can also be installed in a Virtual Machine.
The Servaris Email Server solution provides you with a full email server that is capable of handling fairly large volume of email of a lot of users (thousands easily), depending on the Server hardware configuration:
IMAP/IMAP-SSL, POP3/POP3-SSL, Anti-virus
software, Spam filtering software, multiple domains (add as many domains
as you wish), centralized web based management (global and per domain),
email list server.
The Servaris Email Server System can be accessed
by any email client such as, Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird and,
via Web Browser. Users have acccess to vacation notification. You can
setup (through web browser) auto responders to reply to an email sent
where you want an instant reply sent to the person sent the email.
This will also include web server setup,
database setup, firewall setup.The Servaris Email Server solution can be a complete small business office solution out-of-the-box.
The installation of Servaris BSDMaiL is complete and your new email server
is ready to deploy.
At
the end of the day, it's about Reliability, Performance and Long Server Life.
Whether you configure your email server with software or
you have us build your Email Server ready to deploy, you must think of
potential disaster situations and what you can do before hand to reduce
downtime of essential email services.
This means you should have good backups performed on a very regular basis.

AN EMAIL SERVER SHOULD BE JUST THAT, A SERVER BUILT AND CONFIGURED FOR EMAIL! IF YOU HAVE A LIMITED BUDGET AND CAN AFFORD BUT 1 SINGLE SERVER, CREATE VIRTUAL DEDICATED SERVERS AND INSTALL YOUR MAIL SERVER SYSTEM INSIDE ONE OF THE VIRTUAL DEDICATED SERVERS. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.
Server should have Hot-Pluggable Drives
(SAS or SATA), and should be capable of auto-rebuilding the
RAID Array(s) with Online Hot-Spare Drive(s).
